Fruits of the Backyard, an annual field day held at Middle Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Spring Hill, (MTREC-SH) was held on June 13. Over 100 eager-to-learn attendees were treated to cutting edge information regarding blackberry and blue berry production techniques.  Speakers included Drs. Dave Lockwood and Natalie Bumgarner, (Plant Sciences Department) and Starla Harding with Maury County Extension.  An always popular part of the educational event was a tour of the onsite blackberry and blueberry research and demonstration trials.
