2025 Field Day Events

The 2025 Field Day schedule includes twenty-one events between the months of February and October, and provide an opportunity to learn more about our research and interact with staff and faculty! The events are hosted amongst our ten AgResearch and Education Centers located across the state, and on our University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture (UTIA) campus.   The 2024 Tennessee Beef Heifer Development Program Field Day was held on the Lewisburg unit of the Middle Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center on October 18th, 2024.

• 

  The Northeast Tennessee Beef Expo was hosted October 17th, 2024 by the Northeast Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Greeneville.

• 

  The UT Gardens – Jackson held their Fall in the Gardens on October 3rd and 4th at the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center.

• 

  The UT Arboretum Society and UT Forest Resources AgResearch and Education Center held the 9th Annual Butterfly Festival on September 28th, 2024 at the UT Arboretum in Oak Ridge.

• 

  The Precision Livestock Technologies Beef & Forage Systems Field Day took place on September 24, 2024 on the Middle Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Spring Hill.

• 

  UT AgResearch announces the 2024 Field Day schedule featuring events hosted at locations across Tennessee.

  Our 2023 Fall in the Foothills Field Day was held on the Little River Unit of the East Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in Walland, TN

• 

  The Tennessee Beef Heifer Development Program Field Day took place at the Middle TN AgResearch and Education Center in Lewisburg on Friday, October 20, 2023

• 

  The 2023 Woods and Wildlife Field Day was held on the Oak Ridge Forest Unit of the Forest Resources AgResearch and Education Center on Thursday, October 19, 2023 in Oak Ridge, TN

• 

  The annual Northeast Tennessee Beef Expo was held Thursday, October 12, 2023 on the Northeast Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Greeneville, TN

• 

  Our 2023 Precision Livestock Technologies: Beef and Forage Systems Field Day was held at the Middle TN AgResearch and Education Center in Spring Hill on September 26, 2023

• 

  The 2023 UT Arboretum Butterfly Festival was held at the UT Arboretum in Oak Ridge on September 9th

• 

  Our 2023 Steak and Potatoes Field Day was held on August 24, 2023 on the Plateau AgResearch and Education Center. This event included topics of interest to beef cattle producers, fruit and vegetable producers and land managers alike.

• 

  The 2023 Fall Gardeners’ Festival was held August 29, 2023 on the Plateau AgResearch and Education Center in Crossville. Guests enjoyed educational workshops, exhibits, Ask-the-Expert, wagon tours and garden vendors.

• 

  33rd Summer Celebration held recently at the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center

• 

  The Tobacco, Beef and More Field Day was held on June 29th at the Highland Rim AgResearch and Education Center in Springfield.

• 

  The 2023 Green Industry Field Day Event took place on June 27, 2023 on the UTIA Campus.

• 

  The Fruits of the Backyard Field Day was held June 13, 2023 on the MIddle Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Spring Hill, TN

• 

  Three Horse Management Field Days were held February 2023. Topics ranged from emergency preparedness, internal parasite management, nutrition and more.

• 

  UT AgResearch and Education Centers will host eighteen field days in 2023, providing visitors a chance to see agricultural research in action, speak with university experts, and network with industry professionals.
