On April 20th, The UT Forest Resources AgResearch and Education Center – Cumberland Forest co-hosted the Tennessee Healthy Hardwoods Field Day with UT Extension at the Morgan County headquarters site. The theme focused on forest carbon and over 50 participants attended the half-day event, including lunch. David Mercker and Adam Taylor, both with the UT School of Natural Resources presented the focused content for the event. Kevin Hoyt, director of the UT FRREC gave a short presentation on the Working Woodlands/forest carbon project previously implemented on the UT AgResearch forest units.
