Safe Routes to School is a national program administered by state Departments of Transportation designed to increase students knowledge of bicycle and pedestrian safety and to increase students' proclivity towards active living. This project developed week-long instructional units on the topics of Bike Safety, Pedestrian Safety, and Active Living for grades K-8. A total of 21 units were created.
